This is my favorite denial on the Citadel: Mass Effect showrunner says he was never told to rewrite the Amazon series for "non-gamers"

Mass Effect co-showrunner Daniel Casey has questioned reports that the upcoming Amazon series was being rewritten for a wider audience.

Back in early April, The Ankler reported that Amazon's head of global television Peter Friedlander was waiting on rewrites before giving the go-ahead for Mass Effect to enter production. Those changes purportedly focused on being "more appealing to non-gamers."
