If you've ever used public EV charging, you'll undoubtedly know that it's just still not as good of an experience as a gas station is. Nor is the electricity as cheap as you'd expect.
The process tends to require an app, which requires a login, which requires an account, which requires you tying your credit card to, which requires you to give a company all your personal information, which they'll then sell to other companies to make bank off of. Then, once you find your way through the endless screens, prompts, and rabbit holes of information and needed clicks, you'll likely find your vehicle charging at a slower speed with higher prices.
