This is how Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni celebrated her AutHer Award 2022 win!

International bestselling author Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni is known for her novels like 'The Palace of Illusions', 'The Mistress of Spices, 'The Forest of Enchantments', among others. More recently, Divakaruni won the AutHer Award 2022 in the Best Fiction category for her historical-fiction novel 'The Last Queen'. And the author uniquely celebrated her win-- with a book cake!

Sharing her excitement, Divakaruni posted a picture on social media of the book cake of 'The Last Queen' which she received from a friend for winning the AutHer Awards 2022 for her latest novel. She further wrote, "A dear friend gifted me this cake to celebrate the TOI AUTHER Award for Best Fiction won by #TheLastQueen. It was almost too beautiful to eat--but ultimately I couldn't resist!"
