This iOS 18 Messages bug could cause you to lose an entire conversation

iOS 18 is out now, and it’s an update that brings a lot of good things, but it also comes with at least one quite serious bug. Fortunately, it’s a bug that’s also easy to avoid if you know about it.

9to5Mac reports that if someone shares their Apple Watch face with you in the Messages app, then – if you’re running iOS 18 and reply to the message in a thread – the Messages app will crash for both you and the person who sent the Apple Watch face.
