This cordless Dyson picks up all debris in a single pass and is now on sale with $250 off – as an expert vacuum tester, it's the only one I use in my home

Layered entryway with wooden floors, vibrant wallpaper and leather chair.

In the two years I've been Homes & Gardens' home tech editor, I've had the privilege of testing 28 of the most advanced vacuum cleaners in the world.

I've learned how these appliances work, both in the real world and behind the scenes. And of all of the vacuums I've kept after testing, the Dyson V15 Detect is singlehandedly the best, and the only one I continue to use in my home.
