Finding a golf driver to suit your game is the ultimate shortcut to longer drives, conquering narrow fairways, and standing fearless on the tee. Ping's G440 driver lineup features the Max, SFT, and LST, and Ping claims to have designed these stunning-looking golf drivers to deliver a tailored solution for every golf swing.
Whether your game calls for maximum forgiveness, built-in slice correction, precision workability, or balanced all-around performance, there is a Ping G440 model built for you.
Ping claims its renowned forgiveness is now combined with groundbreaking, speed-focused engineering - we focused on these attributes during our testing and the result was the options in the G440 range becoming some of our all-time favorite drivers.
Below you'll find all the information on the G440 discounts, and be sure to click the 'View Details' section, where you'll find a brief rundown on each driver from our driver tester Joe Ferguson and links to our expert reviews.

The G440 Max is designed, as the name suggests, for maximum forgiveness and comes loaded with Ping technology. Featuring its Free Hosel Technology, it helps lower the CG (centre of gravity) to deliver faster ball speed, optimal spin, a higher launch, and consistently longer, straighter drives.
In testing, golf driver expert Joe Ferguson noted that both forgiveness and stability were stand-out qualities, saying, "The G440 gobbles up mishits and turns them into playable drives."
It can also be fine-tuned to your own shot shape preference thanks to the adjustable weight on the back edge, so you can easily set the club up to hit a draw, fade, or straight shot.
Combined with its premium look thanks to the striking Carbonfly Wrap crown, which also saves weight and helps lower the CG, it makes it one of the best drivers for golfers of all abilities.

The G440 SFT (Straight Flight Technology) Driver is one of the most user-friendly drivers in the G440 family. Built specifically to tame slices, it's engineered with built-in draw bias, helping golfers who battle a left-to-right shot pattern generate longer, straighter shots off the tee.
Featuring a 23-gram adjustable tungsten back weight positioned toward the heel with two positions (Draw and Draw+), it allows golfers to adjust the weight distribution to promote a straight ball flight or a gentle right-to-left draw, keeping drives safely in the fairway.
In our testing, we noted that ball flight is exactly as expected (strongly left-biased), which is precisely what you want from this type of driver. Launch was also easy to achieve, and we were particularly impressed by the level of stability at impact, regardless of where contact was made across the face.
The SFT also benefits from the CG tech of the other models, and it easily takes our crown as the best driver for slicers. Expert tester Joe Ferguson felt it was perfect for mid-handicappers and one of the best high-handicap drivers as well.

The Ping G440 LST (Low Spin Technology) Driver is a tour-proven driver and firm favorite of the low-handicap/high-speed golfer. In our testing, we reckoned there wasn't a vast amount of difference between the G440 LST and its popular older sibling, the G430 LST.
However, there were enough improvements that would help better golfers pick up a small amount of yardage and provide some more optimal ball flights.
The tech upgrades on the LST, like the G440 Max and G440 SFT, are around the CG location, and Ping has created a range with its lowest-ever CG locations and has done so through weight-saving advancements higher up on the head.
Joe Ferguson noted that the LST was one of the most forgiving low-spin drivers around, and its combination of a shallower face, lightweight carbon crown, and its Free Hosel Technology design made it a formidable driver in the right hands.
Finally, it’s worth highlighting that the LST has a smaller 450cc head (compared to the standard 460cc Max and SFT), which is again preferred by stronger players who want to shape their ball flight.
