Thiruvananthapuram to host four 2023 ODI World Cup warm-up games

KOCHI: Thiruvananthapuram has missed out as a venue for the upcoming ODI World Cup to be hosted by India but cricketing fans in the state have been given some consolation by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as they have allotted four pre-tournament warm-up games to Greenfield Stadium in the state capital.

Besides India, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Afghanistan and one of the qualifiers will be involved in the warm-up matches in Thiruvananthapuram. The matches will be played between September 29 and October 3.
