Thiruvananthapuram: Akkulam to become hub of adventure tourism

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Akkulam tourist village is set to become a hub of adventure sports activities and soon, it will also be open to private parties. A 100-m long zipline starting from the top portion will give a journey through the park across a pond and trees at a nominal fee.

The project, which aims at upbringing the district tourism, is a joint venture of District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC) and Vattiyoorkavu Youth Brigade Entrepreneurs’ Cooperative Society, a team led by Vattiyoorkavu MLA V K Prasanth.
