Dundrum Town Centre Supercar Weekend
Taking place on Saturday and Sunday, August 27 and 28, the popular south Dublin shopping centre will host vehicles which car lovers will be buzzing to see including a Lamborghini, Aston Martin and Jordan Grand Prix’s Formula 1.
The cars will be on display from 10am until 6pm on both days at Pembroke Square. Additionally, TV and movie fans will get up and close to some famous novelty cars from classic titles such as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Jurassic Park and Back to the Future.
Dublin Brick Show
Taking place in UCD's O'Reilly Hall this Saturday, August 27, huge Lego models will be on display for fans, from Lego Star Wars to Ninjago and Lego City.
With the show being aimed at children, there will also be a Lego free play area as well as free speed build competitions with prizes to be won.

Forest Bathing at Furry Glen
Forest bathing is a concept that won't be familiar with, so Dublin Live did some digging to find out exactly what it is.
The event's organiser Aurora Procopio told us that she brings attendees on a short forest walk and invites them to join in on a meditation, tea ceremony and more things to help them fully immerse themselves in the forest.
Another forest bathing session is taking place Sunday, August 28 at 11am and tickets can be purchased here.
Airfield Estate Tomato Festival
Who knew festival season would include a celebration of tomatoes? Airfield Estate in Dundrum is hosting a special Tomato Festival this Saturday and Sunday.
The festival will feature experts who will be able to share everything they know about growing tomatoes, as well as a tomato competition with prizes to be won in multiple categories including 'Ugliest Tomato'.
American Football at Aviva Stadium
Irish sport fans are in for a spectacle of new heights this weekend when heading along to the Aviva Stadium for Aer Lingus College Football Classic between the Northwestern Wildcats and the Nebraska Cornhuskers this Saturday, August 27.
Tickets for the game are still available via Ticketmaster and start at €60.
George Feely at Bow Lane Social Club
This Saturday from 10pm, Bow Lane Social Club hosts a free party featuring tunes by George Feely.
Since the event is free, the venue reaches full capacity rather early so it's advised that you get there early.

Dalkey Lobster Festival
From Friday until Sunday, Dalkey welcomes the return of its beloved Lobster Festival. The 2022 edition of Dalkey Lobster Festival will be a combination of culinary demos and "exquisite dining".
The festival will also feature live music, street entertainment and artisan exhibits. Visitors can expect to see a host of familiar faces who will appear on the Main Stage within the Lobster Village, which will be located in The Tramyard this year.
A slew of comedy
If a good laugh is what you're looking for among the great things to do in Dublin this weekend, you'll be delighted to know that there are loads of comedy nights to choose from.
On Saturday, August 27, there's The Nerd Herd from 7.30pm at Sin É, Saturdays at The International from 9pm and Craic Den Comedy Club from 9pm at The Workman's Club.
