Thin Lizzy's legendary 1976 Cleveland show gets first vinyl release

Fifty years ago, legendary rock band Thin Lizzy — at the peak of its powers — descended upon Cleveland's most iconic club.

Driving the news: "Live in Cleveland 1976" will be released on vinyl as part of Record Store Day tomorrow.

  • The album pulls together the recordings from the band's May 11, 1976, concert at the Agora, which was broadcast live on WMMS.

Flashback: The Irish hard-rock band released its breakthrough album "Jailbreak" that March before embarking on a U.S. tour.

  • Tickets for the Agora show were $3.50 in advance, $4.50 at the door.

State of play: The Agora show was included in Thin Lizzy's 2024 boxset.

  • However, the Record Store Day release is the concert's first official release on vinyl.
