A who stole £155,000 from a medical practice while having an affair with a doctor has been freed after serving less than a third of her 18 month jail sentence.
Jacqueline Rodger, 56, had a secret relationship with Dr Iain Hathorn while employed as practice manager at Greenhills Medical Practice in East Kilbride.
The trysts ended when Rodger got married but the affair was revealed after cash problems surfaced at the practice.

Rodger, of Kilmarnock, admitted embezzling £155,012.71 between April 2014 and February 2018 and was jailed on October 31 last year for 18 months.
But a proceeds of crime hearing at Hamilton Sheriff Court heard she had been released from HMP Edinburgh last month and was now on a tag.
Rodger, who walked into the dock from the public gallery and represented herself, told the court: "I was in Saughton up until four weeks ago."
The court heard prosecutors are no longer looking at a 'lifestyle profile' for Rodger but were instead focused on recovering the stolen cash.
Sheriff John Hamilton KC continued the case until next month to allow her to find a lawyer.
After the affair became public, Rodger, who claimed to have taken the money due to stress, told Hathorn by text message: "Iain, it's Jacqueline. It was me that did it. I'm so sorry, so ashamed. You're all such lovely people."
A message sent to another doctor at the surgery said: "I am so sorry and ashamed of what I have done. You were all so good to me, I deserve everything that's coming my way."
The investigation showed Rodger, who had worked at the centre since 2008, had been moving money to her own account disguised as dozens of bogus payments to locum doctors and office supply firms.
The Greenhills practice was forced to close due to the financial losses.
The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) were approached for comment.
