Thierry Henry names unsung Liverpool player who 'does the job' for Jurgen Klopp after Ajax win

Thierry Henry Liverpool Jurgen Klopp Ajax Joel Matip UEFA Champions League Mohamed Salah Arsenal Thiago

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has named the Liverpool player who he thinks doesn’t get the accolades they deserve.

The Reds were in action on Tuesday night as they claimed a 2-1 win over Ajax in the Champions League Group A clash. Mohamed Salah opened the scoring for Liverpool, before Mohammed Kudus equalised for the visitors.

Late on in the second half, Joel Matip met a Kostas Tsimikas corner to head the ball narrowly over the line. It was his first Champions League goal since signing for Liverpool in 2016.
