Thierry Henry was left with egg on his face after he twice used himself incorrectly as the answer in a quiz shown live on US TV.
The former Arsenal man was taking up his usual seat on the CBS Sports Golazo panel alongside Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards. The trio were subjected to a quiz by Kate Abdo, who revealed clues one-by-one, leaving the pundits to guess who she was describing. Points were awarded and taken away for right and wrong answers.
Henry took the lead on the first question, under the impression it was himself being described. Abdo said that the individual she was looking for had been inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame, was one of seven players to score hat-tricks in back-to-back games and was Arsenal's top scorer for six straight seasons.
The Frenchman sat there with a confident grim and buzzed in using himself as the answer - only to be told he was wrong. The correct answer was instead Ian Wright, but co-pundits Carragher and Richards were both in stitches as Henry was quickly bought back down to earth.
His mocking wasn't too end there however. Later in the quiz Abdo began describing another player. She said he had worn 12 in his final season with Arsenal and won the World Cup with France - both of those things applied to Henry, so he buzzed in.
His wrong answer, once again, had Richards and Carragher in barrels of laughter as they jumped up to mock the 45-year-old. He said: "That's bad, I'm not happy. I know who it is then."
The next two clues were that the individual had won the Champions League, but not with Arsenal, and Serie A with AC Milan, which meant it had to be Olivier Giroud.
Henry said: "that's clever". He later got another question wrong but simply shook his head and said: "I'm still done with those two questions" - of course referencing the ones he thought were describing him.
He also said: "I don't care about being back in the game - you guys played me with your two questions."
Despite all that, it is Henry who would have the last laugh. He answered the final question right, as Abdo described Ted Lasso, to snatch victory and jumped up yelling: "Who won? Who won? You tried to trick me and who won?"
There were some other blunders throughout the 10 minute long quiz. Abdo described a player who had won the Swiss league title, played with Richards, won the African Player of the Year and claimed Champions League glory with Liverpool. Two wrong answers were submitted with the correct answer being Mohamed Salah.
Carragher buzzed in, seemingly more in hope than expectation, and answered Xherdan Shaqiri.
Henry looked at him bewildered and said: "African? Shaqiri? That's minus 100." The Frenchman also said, as he continued to be mocked following his blunder: "I will get you guys, don't you worry. Payback is a you know what."
