Arsenal icon Thierry Henr y has claimed that Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia would be “the full package” for Manchester United as the Red Devils eye a swoop for the Georgian.
The winger has been one of the star performers in Serie A this season as he aims to help the club to their first league title since 1990. He has 13 goals and 15 assists to his name in all competitions in what has been a stunning debut season in Italy since a bargain move from Dinamo Batumi in the summer.
Those performances have seen a number of clubs keeping a close eye on Kvaratskhelia ahead of a potential move. Manchester City, Real Madrid, Chelsea and United have all been credited with an interest in the 22-year-old.
Ahead of Napoli’s Champions League last-16 second leg with Eintracht Frankfurt, Henry has detailed exactly what Kvaratskhelia would bring to any potential new employers. Speaking to CBS Sports, he said: “He can press. He can hold the ball. He can see a pass.
“He has the legs to go on the break with Osimhen. This is why they understand each other very well because, once Osimhen opens his legs, it’s not easy to catch up with him. But he is with him the whole time.
“He’s just the full package. Hopefully, it can carry on for him and they can win the league. If they don’t win the league, it will be crazy because of the number of points that they have ahead. Winning the Champions League will be crazy.”

Henry is not the only man to have praised Kvaratskhelia ahead of a potential move away from Naples. Amid Luciano Spalletti’s words for the winger’s stunning goal against Atalanta, former Inter Milan striker Christian Vieri has suggested that the Georgian would become the Red Devils’ modern version of George Best.
Speaking with Bobo TV, he said: "The goal he scored was the stuff of madness! If he goes to Manchester United, the days of George Best will return. Kvaratskhelia is the same.”
Should United attempt a move for the winger, then it might take a considerable fee to secure his services. He has over four years remaining on his contract at the Estadio Diego Armando Maradona.
Kvaratskhelia is not the only Napoli key man to have been linked with a move to Old Trafford over the past few months. Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is thought to be on the Red Devils’ list of targets as they attempt to add a big name forward to their squad ahead of next season.
Meanwhile, South Korean defender Kim Min-Jae has also been linked with making a switch to Manchester. He is another to have impressed during his debut campaign with Napoli following his move from Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
