Thick clouds of white smoke have been seen near the M1 on the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire border. Pictures taken from the Kirkby Woodhouse area appear to show the smoke rising from Pinxton.
Specifically, the smoke appears to be coming from an area near the M1, with the clouds of smoke visible from miles around. However, both the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire fire and rescue services say that no incidents have currently been reported to them in the Pinxton area.

The pictures were taken at around 4pm on Monday (November 28). There are currently no incidents being reported along the relevant stretch of the M1, near junction 28, to suggest that there are any delays as a result of the incident.
