Liverpool star Thiago Alcantara has appeared to step up his recovery from injury.
The Reds midfielder has been sidelined with a hip flexor injury since the start of February. His last match was the 3-0 defeat to Wolves in the Premier League more than a month ago.
Since then, the Spaniard has missed Liverpool’s last six Premier League matches. Thiago was also absent from the 5-2 defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League last month.

After the injury was confirmed, there were concerns that Thiago could miss both legs of the last-16 tie in Europe’s premier cup competition. But the latest update could provide Liverpool with a boost going into the second leg.
In a post on his Instagram story, Thiago released a short video of himself doing some work in the gym. The 31-year-old can be seen working with an exercise on his hip whilst alongside a personal trainer.
Last week, Klopp said that Thiago was still in the process of recovering from his injury. Along with Luis Diaz and Joe Gomez, Klopp said that he did not expect to see any of the trio back in action until after the international break.
"All three are not available. Different stages, I would say,” said Klopp last Friday.
"Joey might be able to train at the beginning of the week. Luis I hope during next week. After the international break then obviously for both is possible.
"Thiago we will see. None of them have trained yet with the team, and then we will see how that develops in the next couple of weeks and we will know more.”
