Boho is back in a big way. We can thank Chloe's Chemena Kamali for the resurgence. She sent plenty of ruffles and lace down the Fall 2024 runway. Then put a warm-weather spin on the silhouettes for Spring 2025. When it comes to accessories, necklaces are the hallmark of many an outfit. They tend to be layered, frequently building off one low-hanging pendant necklace. Proving that boho is not Chloe's exclusive domain, many other designers have dropped cord pendant necklaces crafted to bring a bit of boho to any look.
The fact that there's a cord involved gives these pieces an earthy look. Pendants come in a variety of materials and shapes, all adding to the aforementioned earthy vibe. The necklaces vary in length. You have your borderline chokers, solitary swingers and multiple loops. Some may argue that the cords make the necklaces better suited to summer. We respectfully disagree. Granted, several feature beachy pendants, from shells to fish. On the other hand, the ones with bigger, chunkier pendants would look very out of place in the summer sun, making them perfect for fall and especially winter.
