Selected East Ayrshire areas will receive an additional green bin uplift this week.
The local authority is still playing catch-up from strike action earlier this month with certain households not receiving a residual waste uplift.
From today until Friday, households that didn't receive a general waste collection between August 29 and 31 can place their general waste bin and excess bags out for collection.
East Ayrshire Council say that collections will continue into the evening and that waste workers may return to the same community more than once.
Officials have advised residents to leave their bins out until they've been collected.
Towns and communities set for additional uplifts this week are as follows: Stewarton, Dunlop, Fenwick Rural, Barshare, Logan, Altonhill, Beansburn, Longpark, Holmhead, Other Cumnock streets that still need collections, and Auchinleck.
The Western Road recycling centre is open on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday to Sunday from 8am to 3.50pm and Monday/Thursday from 8am to 6.50pm.
Garlaff recycling centre is open from Monday to Sunday from 8am to 3.50pm.
