Representative Thomas Massie has found himself in a tough spot as he claims that billionaires are trying to push him out of his seat in the United States Congress. The Rep from Kentucky has an election coming up in 2026, and President Donald Trump is already calling for a challenger to unseat the polarizing Republican lawmaker. While all of that continues to develop, Massie took to social media to spread the message that he feels is the most pressing heading into 2026. Namely, elite control of Congress and a quashing of dissent among people in the Republican party.
Massie has been a voice to release the much-discussed Jeffrey Epstein Files and is calling on more Republican lawmakers to initiate a vote to unseal their contents for the American public. Of course, breaking lockstep with a large segment of his own party has made the Kentucky representative a target in the weeks since the United States Government shut down.
