Disney Cruise Line is well known for offering high-quality entertainment at sea. Its cruise ship performances rival those you can see at Walt Disney World and Disney stories come to life on board through immersive spaces and interactive fun. Themed dining experiences, water slides and fireworks at sea add excitement to each sailing.
But without any Disney attractions on its ships beyond the AquaMouse water ride on the Disney Wish, it wouldn’t be entirely accurate to call a Disney cruise ship a floating Disney theme park. At least not any of the ships that are currently sailing.

As new details are revealed about the three new ships set to launch between December 2024 and December 2025, its clear Disney Cruise Line has big plans to level up its fleet. Disney Imagineers have been hard at work designing new cruise ship themed areas and attractions that match up to those at Disney theme parks.
When the Disney Adventure sets sail on its maiden voyage from Singapore on Dec. 15, 2025, passengers will experience a whole new level of Disney magic and theme park-style experiences at sea.
Disney Cruise Line’s biggest ship yet and its first designed for passengers in Asia, the Disney Adventure will feature seven themed areas reminiscent of the themed lands that make up Disney theme parks.

Disney Cruise Line’s first adventure zone will feature the longest roller coaster at sea
Disney Adventure passengers will jump into a world of action in the ship's Marvel Landing-themed area. Disney Cruise Line’s first adventure zone at sea, Marvel Landing will include three new Disney attractions on the upper decks, including the longest roller coaster at sea.
Marvel Landing will celebrate the larger-than-life personalities from the Marvel Universe with new superhero-inspired attractions and experiences. The adventure zone will feature an 820-foot-long Ironcycle Test Run roller coaster, “Ant-Man and The Wasp,”-inspired Pym Quantum Racers, and a “Guardians of the Galaxy”-themed Groot Galaxy Spin ride.
The first roller coaster on a Disney Cruise Line ship, Ironcycle Test Run will be the longest at sea, surpassing Carnival's BOLT.

Ironcycle Test Run will send passengers on a gravity-defying Iron Man-style race suspended up to 30 feet above the upper decks of the ship. After receiving a rapid-fire driving lesson from Tony Stark’s virtual assistant F.R.I.D.A.Y, passengers will set off on a high-speed test drive of Stark’s latest Ironcycle prototype, a two-seater ride vehicle modeled after red-and-gold Iron Man suits.
The thrills continue in Marvel Landing with the Pym Quantum Racers attraction inspired by the car chase scene in Marvel Studio’s “Ant-Man and The Wasp.” Passengers can zoom around a full-scale toy set track in Pym Tech-modified mini-cars, steering their way around both giant and tiny obstacles along the route.
On Groot Galaxy Spin, passengers will fly their own Nova Corp Bass Jumper vehicles above the upper decks of the ship. Inspired by Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy,” the attraction will take passengers on an out-of-this-world ride set to an awesome mixtape of classic tunes broadcasted by Groot.

The Disney Adventure’s upper decks will also invite relaxation and water play
After the epic adventures, passengers can come back down to earth and refuel on Marvel Landing’s sundeck complete with an infinity pool, panoramic ocean views, and bar for snacks and beverages.
For even more relaxation, passengers can retreat to the back of the ship to the Wayfinder Bay-themed area. This cozy pool deck will reflect the Oceania-inspired artistry of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Moana.”
The Disney Adventure’s upper decks will also feature Toy Story Place, a whimsical Toy Story-inspired water playland. The colorful, larger-than-life toy land will include a large family pool, whirlpools, slides, splash pads, and dining options, plus outdoor screenings of Disney movies, trivia, and more.
