A theatrical production of the Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy trial will be coming to the Liverpool Empire theatre this May.
Following a limited run in the West End, Vardy v Rooney: The Wagatha Christie Trial will stop off in Liverpool on May 28 as part of a UK tour. The trial that got the nation talking has been turned into a theatre show, which will reveal what went on behind closed doors during the case.
Seven days of High Court transcripts have been adapted for the show, which will allow audiences to see how the week in court played out in the words of Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney. The show has been adapted by Liv Hennessy, finalist in the Paines Plough's Women's Prize for Playwriting.

Audiences will be able to watch the intrigue and intricacies of the case for themselves, something that only a small number of people got to witness as it happened. Tickets for the show will go on sale on Friday, February 17 and can be purchased via the ATG Tickets website.
Vardy v Rooney: The Wagatha Christie Trial opened at the Wyndham's Theatre in London in November, where it was met with standing ovations from packed audiences. The role of Rebekah Vardy will be played by Lucy May Barker, whilst Laura Dos Santos will star as Coleen Rooney.
