Theatre-goers are being warned to plan ahead with disruption expected this weekend. Road closures are due to come into force across the city centre tomorrow ahead of Sunday's Great Manchester Run.
Ticketholders attending tomorrow's performance of The Cher Show at the Opera House, and Saturday and Sunday's performances of Beauty and the Beast at the Palace are being advised to plan their journey. Closures will begin tomorrow morning and some will not be lifted until late on Sunday.
In a statement theatre bosses said: "If you are travelling to the theatre to see either Beauty and the Beast or The Cher Show, please be aware that this weekend is the Great Manchester Run and there will be a number of road closures around Manchester.
