STEVEN BENDA 8
On his first league start for Swansea in just over a year, the German made a fine save to deny Ilias Chair in the first half and took a more no-nonsense approach in possession. Decent save to keep out Tyler Roberts' strike to keep a clean sheet after a fine display.
NATHAN WOOD 8
Looked very composed at the back and was a clearing machine in the second half. He stood up to the task remarkably well. Such a good outing.
KYLE NAUGHTON 8
Made stacks of defensive interventions and his composure on the ball was vital, particularly given the amount of possession QPR had. Good display again.
BEN CABANGO 8
Back in the line-up following his one-game suspension, Cabango got away with a mistake and a shirt pull on Chris Willock early on. Passing was generally slick after that. Had numerous chances to score but it wasn't to be, although a good display nonetheless.
MATTY SORINOLA 7
The loan man was very lively in attacking areas and really made an impact with his pace and energy. Final ball was sometimes lacking, but it's another encouraging showing following his performance at Stoke City.
JOE ALLEN 7
Did his share of defensive work and kept things ticking over nicely in possession too. Subbed.
MATT GRIMES 8
The captain made some timely tackles in the middle of the park and was a huge influence in the QPR half when attempting to exploit the space in behind. Impressive stuff.
RYAN MANNING 8
Against his former club, the Irishman made some important interceptions and linked up nicely with Jamie Paterson on the left. Did well in his battle with former Swan Ethan Laird.
OLLIE COOPER - Star Man 8
On his first home start for Swansea, Cooper buzzed around the park with energy throughout, playing a key role in Joel Piroe's opener while pressing when possible.
JAMIE PATERSON 7
Starting for the first time since the home defeat to Blackburn Rovers a month ago, Paterson was lively in the final third, particularly with Cooper and Manning near him. Subbed.
JOEL PIROE 8
In his preferred number nine role, the Dutchman looked so lively as Swansea found space in behind QPR's backline. Well denied by Seny Dieng from the penalty spot but took his goal well just six minutes later. Spurned a chance with a header but can be immensely pleased with his efforts.
Subs
Liam Cullen (for Sorinola) - Injured his shoulder moments after coming on and was swiftly replaced. Cruel luck for the striker. N/A
Armstrong Oko-Flex (for Paterson) - Making his debut for the club, the West Ham loanee work tirelessly and helped Swansea to see out the game away from their own goal. 6
Fin Stevens (for Cullen) - Showed some neat touches on the ball on what was his debut. Will no doubt become a more prominent player. 6
Luke Cundle (for Cooper) - Showed some real moments of class during his short time on the pitch. Very exciting prospect. 6
Jay Fulton (for Allen) - Aside from a misplaced piece of skill, the Scot did well to dig in at the end as Swansea held on. 6
