The WNBA has decided that Chicago Sky rookie forward Angel Reese should not have been ejected during Tuesday night’s game against the New York Liberty because of course it has.
After Reese got booted from the contest for waving off a referee’s foul, he league has rescinded Reese’s second technical foul, which would’ve kept her in the game if called correctly by the official according to the Chicago Sun-Times‘ Annie Costabile.
In an 88-75 loss, the Sky really could’ve used Reese on the court to help it stay as competitive as possible against the Liberty.
On what was not a banner night for the WNBA’s officiating crews, rightfully adjusting Reese’s bizarre ejection is at least a step in the right direction.

Hopefully, the WNBA can get its act together in calling games with more consistency and reason. Right now, the whole operation comes across like an unprepared mess when it comes to calling fouls and swallowing the whistle.
