The Witcher 4 is set to bring us a new open world entry in the fantasy series that will put us in the role of Ciri.
The big upcoming RPG was first revealed back in 2022 as part of a new Witcher saga, which is set to include an AAA RPG trilogy. As the follow-up to the The Witcher 3, we've steadily been learning more and more about the new game, with a State of Unreal Witcher 4 tech demo dropping last year. And while CD Projekt Red is about to host a series of REDstreams as part of the Gamescom 2026 schedule, the studio confirmed that we won't be seeing more of the Witcher 4 at this year's event, with the focus instead being put on the brand new expansion coming to The Witcher 3 in 2027.
