Easter holidays are on the horizon and with spring in full swing there's nowhere better to take the kids for a cheap and fun day out than a park - and a Welsh adventure playground has been named amongst the best in the UK.
In a list produced by The Times, Margam Country Park's playground has landed fourth out of seven parks across the country with the website flagging the area's mini castle and huge slide as standouts to make play time even better.
Found in its 850 acres of parkland, Margam Country Park also boasts its gothic castle, orangery and is teeming with wildlife, including their famous deers. It hosts seasonal events like Luminate and outdoor cinemas as well as food festivals and fun days.
But what did The Times have to say about the playground? It makes the park sound really dreamy and somewhere to happily spend a day - when the weather's lovely.
It wrote: "A mini castle with a watchtower and a huge slide are the standouts at this adventure playground, while younger children will fall under the spell of the fairytale village full of miniature houses. With the castle, steam train and lake to kayak across, it’s easy to spend a whole day here. Keep your eyes peeled for the herd of deer roaming the parkland too."
It also flags that you can follow in Hollywood star, Elizabeth Taylor’s footsteps by staying at the cosy Castle Hotel in Neath, a 20-minute drive from the park. Taylor was of course married to local lad and acting legend, Richard Burton who was from Pontrhydyfen in the nearby Afan Valley.
