FedEx Corp. plans to complete the spin-off of its FedEx Freight business on June 1, which will debut as an independent publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker FDXF. New State Administration for Market Regulation rules for online food delivery take effect June 1, strengthening whole-chain control and emphasizing platform responsibilities. The regulations detail merchant requirements, standardize processing and delivery and increase penalties for violations.

Embodied AI standard implemented

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s first industry standard for embodied artificial intelligence testing methods takes effect June 1. The move establishes a standardized evaluation framework for the embodied AI sector.

OPEC+ discusses oil output

Seven OPEC+ countries, including Saudi Arabia and Russia, will meet on June 7 to finalize July production targets, with a proposed increase of about 188,000 barrels per day. The group previously maintained output levels in the first quarter of 2026 before initiating consecutive production increases in April.
