Monday’s game is a make-up date for when the Warriors and Nuggets were supposed to play on Dec. 30. The original game was postponed because Denver had players in health and safety protocols and was unable to suit the minimum eight players required by the NBA.
Losing a rest day before another game Tuesday at against the Los Angeles Clippers, Warriors coach Steve Kerr is deciding to sit some players.
The Warriors aren't bringing Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins to Denver. Steve Kerr: "The decision was pretty easy." This is the rescheduled game from earlier in the season.

Fans will still likely see reigning MVP Nikola Jokic, who is coming off a historic performance Sunday against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Fresh or not, his presence alone is why the Nuggets are worth picking against this spread at -115 odds — even if they’re just 4-7 this season on zero days rest, according to StatMuse.
The Warriors are reeling, going 2-8 including four straight losses in their last 10 games. And that’s with their main guys in the lineup.
