The unseen Jota role in Celtic fight back against Ross County that echoes Ange Postecoglou's 'we never stop' mantra

Celtic were made to work for their win over Ross County but substitute Jota played his part in helping the team move nine points clear of Rangers at the top.

The Scottish Premiership goes into cold storage until after the World Cup and Ange Postecoglou will be delighted with the impressive campaign so far that has seen the defending champions cast serious doubts over rival boss Gio van Bronckhorst and his title ambitions. Celtic had to do it the hard way against the struggling Staggies when David Cancola netted from the penalty spot after Matt O'Riley was controversially penalised for handball in the box after a VAR consultation.

David Turnbull levelled the game before Sead Haksabanovic completed the comeback, but a moment involving Jota immediately after the equaliser has caught the eye of some eagle-eyed punters. A soon as the Scotland cap slides the ball beyond Ross Laidlaw the Portuguese talent can be seen dashing into the back of the net.

He quickly retrieves the ball while his teammates wheel away to celebrate the goal, and returns the ball to the centre for the restart of the game. Just six minutes later Haksabanovic would net to decide the showdown.

Boss Postecgolou will have been delighted to see the substitute following his mantra since he arrived at Celtic Park - we never stop. The relentless response to the goal will be exactly what he demands from his Celtic players when the league resumes next month.
