A house that is practically it's own woodland retreat has popped up for sale. And it's going for a few pretty pennies of £1,150,000.
The seven-bedroom house in Treharris, Merthyr Tydfil, seems to be a countryside-lover's dream, as it has a woodland behind it, a nature reserve below, and views across the wooded hillside Valley. It also spreads out as a versatile space as it comes with it's own annexe. This is what the generously-sized house looks like on the inside.

When you go in, you're met with a rolling hallway that opens out almost like a corridor, as the ground floor of the house has plenty of interesting rooms that might surprise you. To start with, it has it's own cinema room.
Anyone's average film night would surely be upgraded in this unique space.
There's also a games room right next to it. So anyone who buys this house will probably end up being a bit of a social butterfly once their friends discover the perks of paying them a visit.
Just across the hallway is the master bedroom, which also comes with it's own en-suite. And right next-door, a home office.
The house also has it's own snug so it still has a sense of cosiness.
But while there are lots of nooks and crannies to the house, there are still plenty of aspects that give it an open plan feel, like the kitchen and lounge which interconnect.
The estate agent's, Peter Alan, have been singing the property's praises online, noting that it includes under floor heating, is very eco-friendly and that it also went through a full revamp in 2013 when all of it's new floors, ceilings and windows as well as new bathrooms and kitchens were put in. The property is also especially versatile as it also has it's own annexe.
It looks like the perfect place to have some guests over for a few days, as it comes with a large open plan kitchen and lounge together with a utility room, a cloakroom, and an independent access on to the front gardens and grounds.
Outside, the grounds include private and sheltered tree lined gardens and grounds which are approached from a private road via a five bar gate. They lead to a long Tarmac main entrance drive with Victorian style street lights and stoned stepped borders approaching a parking area and edged lawn borders.
With lots of impressive views across the valley, the gardens run the full width of the plot. There is also a tennis court with hard concrete base that is currently housing a multi functional aviary.
Various other outbuildings include open log stores and storage sheds, according to Peter Alan. You can find the advert for the house online here.
