Strange double yellow lines over a pavement kerb have appeared all over streets in Wales.
Often appearing as a single or double yellow marking, the lines indicate that loading or unloading is prohibited. A single line often specifies certain hours where the rule applies, and a double line declares the rule is in force at all hours.
The strict rules even apply to users holding disabled badges with fines being issued for vehicles stopping at a marked area. Blue badge holders can normally park on yellow lines but can not park where kerb markings are present.
