Former Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa had been linked with the vacant Bournemouth job over the past few weeks but has now been ruled out as the club has chosen to stick with interim boss Gary O'Neil.
The 57-year-old's last role was a four-year stint with the Whites which ended back in February after he left them in 16th place - leaving current Whites boss Jesse Marsch to keep them up on the final day of the season.
After reportedly turning down multiple job offers in his home country of Argentina, Bielsa was rumoured to be in line for the Bournemouth seat after Scott Parker's dismissal just four games into the season.

However, there are two key reasons as to why the Cherries avoided Bielsa entirely and have now stuck to their guns and investing - at least until the end of the season - with O'Neil.
Speaking to TEAM talk, journalist Graeme Bailey highlighted two key reasons as to why the Cherries ended up choosing O'Neil over Bielsa - one of those simply being the financial aspect of the move.
"The only boss they [Bournemouth] approached was Marcelo Bielsa. They were intrigued by [Marcelo] Bielsa, but bringing him in is not a cheap process. He has a big backroom staff and although they were also keen, no doubt it was a big risk. In the end, Gary O’Neil just showed too much for them not to go for him."
