The Try Guys opened up about the aftermath of removing Ned from the group

Zach Kornfeld and Keith Habersberger sat down with podcast producer Miles Bonsignore to discuss the scandal that has plagued the YouTube group for the past month.
The third member of the group, Eugene Lee Yang, didn’t appear on the podcast episode, with Kornfeld revealing that Yang doesn’t like doing podcasts and that from now on, TryPod would only be hosted by Kornfeld and Habersberger.
The duo opened up about the aftermath of the revelation that Fulmer had cheated on his wife with an employee, and was subsequently removed from the group.
They said that their social media statements weren’t coordinated, but that they believe Fulmer saw their post and copied the font, saying that they weren’t happy about it.
Kornfeld and Habersberger also said that even if news about Fulmer’s affair hadn’t gone public, they still would have removed him from the group because it “betrayed [their] trust” and was a “workplace violation”.
However, they said they would have avoided the “public spectacle” that it has become.
Kornfeld also said that they want their fans to continue to believe in them.
He added: “We’re a brand that wants to have an impact with the videos we make. We also make some goofy b******* and, you know, make bad food and eat bad food too.
“But hopefully the reason that you’ve stuck around for this long is because you feel like you believe in us. You can trust us and we really want to have a commitment and a recommitment to those values as we look to the future.
“And so we want that to be expressed via the leadership from Keith, Eugene and myself into the values that are espoused within our company and from our company.”
Habersberger also commented on how they appeared in the YouTube video they made about Fulmer and explained that this experience had been “really draining”.
He said: “One thing is like how we all looked in that video is tired. Yes. Eugene looked angry. Zach looked sad and I looked disgusted, but we’re all tired.
He went on to say: “But really the truth of it was we’re all really tired. We’re really tired. It’s been a lot of mental exhaustion and worry and fear and stuff and it’s just like been really draining. But I will say that our partners have been really awesome and supportive.”
