American actor Jeremy Renner is best known for playing Clint Barton—better known as Hawkeye—in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, appearing in The Avengers films and related TV spin-offs. With a long and successful acting career, he earned critical acclaim for his role as a bomb disposal specialist in the war drama The Hurt Locker. He also fronts the Paramount+ series Mayor of Kingstown. Recently, however, Renner has been making headlines for far less flattering reasons.
Jeremy Renner has publicly dismissed claims made by his former wife, Sonni Pacheco, suggesting he threatened to kill her, describing such reports as misleading and false. Pacheco, born on 21 March 1988 in Canada, is a model and an actress recognised for her roles in The Wingman and American Pie Presents: The Book of Love. She and Renner divorced in 2014.
