Fans of the BBC series The Traitors have been left crying for more after the series concluded on Thursday, December 23. The popular show, which is hosted by Strictly Come Dancing's Claudia Winkleman, saw Faithful contestants Meryl, Hannah and Aaron each take home a share of the £101,050 prize pot.
Discussing their victory on ITV's This Morning with Josie Gibson and Andi Peters, the winners all had the same opinion of host Claudia, who has been praised for hosting the show. "She literally immersed herself in the show," Meryl began, "When we were doing missions and stuff, she was incredibly on our side."
Hannah echoed similar feelings about the 50-year-old presenter and said: "She was also incredibly supportive because in there, you've got no contact and you're not in touch with your family and Claudia was always there to give us a hug and a warm word. Sometimes though, she would shout at us."

The Traitors' grand final saw the finalists turn on Kieran, who was convinced to become a Traitor by Wilfred in the previous episode. After being banished from the contest, Kieran left a parting clue for The Faithfuls by dramatically voting for fellow Traitor Wilfred. Kieran’s gameplay made the others suspect there was still a Traitor in their midst and around an emotionally-charged firepit, they banished Wilfred from the game.
Hannah, who had struck up a strong bond with Wilfred, told Josie and Andi: "When Wilf said [he was a Traitor], I was like, we've just won 100 grand so I felt like I couldn't be too mad. I would have definitely felt it if he had taken all the money away." Meryl and Aaron agreed they felt comforted by the fact that they banished Traitors Wilfred, Alyssa, Amanda and Kieran from the competition.
In each episode of The Traitors, contestants had to take on missions together to put money into a prize pot, however, hidden among them were the Traitors who had to go undetected and "murder" a fellow player every night. Everyone else in the game was labelled a Faithful and it was their job to detect who the traitors were and banish them from the game before they became their next victim.
Following a successful first series, fans have been desperate for more episodes with Claudia Winkleman returning as host. Claudia was initially hesitant to be part of the series, though - read more about that here. Watch the full series now on BBC iPlayer.
