The Traitors viewers were in tears for the explosive series final.
The series final highlighted the players ugly sides as they all turned on one another in order to eliminate the remaining traitors. Friendships were broken with everyone out for blood to ensure they were the ones walking away with the £100,000 cash prize.
The final round table saw them end the game whenever they were certain no other traitors remained. Their deliberation sparked some of the most brutal comments and arguments the show has seen, but viewers were taken aback by a last-minute self-elimination.

Kieran, a traitor, told everyone to vote him out which they did. During his own vote, he named Wilf, also a traitor, as a "parting gift" to raise suspicions amongst the other players.
Knowing he didn't have a shot in the competition anymore, Kieran used his vote as one last-ditch attempt to get Wilf out of the show after a fiery back and forth showed they could no longer trust one another.
The self-sacrifice left viewers in awe as no one at the table or online saw it coming. One fan said: "Kieran really was like “I'm burning everything to the ground."
Another added: "Get in Kieran he’s absolutely sold Wilf perfectly there as best as he could." Another added: "Kieran that was epic!!"
After Kieran's exit, the roundtable exploded into accusations as to what the "parting gift" meant, with Wilf's long-time friends questioning his sincerity. Wilf defended himself, claiming he had no idea what it meant as the group said they've always trusted him.
Coming together at the end of the show to decide whether or not the game was finished and no more traitors were amongst them, the group called for another banishment. Kieran's parting words were too much for the group to ignore which meant they collectively eliminated Wilf.
Declaring himself a traitor, the group, including Claudia Winkleman, broke down in tears as they finally won the game. Hannah, Meryl and Aaron embraced each other in celebration as viewers also cried tears of joy for the ending of the "show of the year."
One fan said: "Proper crying this is genuinely the best reality show there’s been and IM SO HAPPY AARON WON." Another added: "Now I'm crying!! Who doesn't love a happy ending!"
A final commenter said: "I'm actually crying. This is hands down one of the best shows I have ever watched. Just incredible."
