The Traitors fans will be buzzing as the final three episodes are set to air this week on BBC One.
Claudia Winkelman's new reality show featured 22 contestants living in Ardross Castle in the Highland region of Scotland in which three competitors are secretly given the role of a 'Traitor'. In each episode, viewers tune in to see the group try and figure out who among them is a 'Traitor' and attempt to send them home - or risk being murdered in the night by the group.
Theo Mayne was the latest contestant to be banished from the BBC reality show.
The cheerleading coach was voted off by his fellow contestants after they suspected him of being a traitor, but they were left reeling upon finding out he was in fact faithful.
This came after actual traitor Amanda Lovett planted the seed among her co-stars about Theo, and wrote his name down after previously branding him the person she trusted most. Sneaky traitor Amanda left viewers, and Theo, confused after her apparent change of heart and turning against the 26-year-old.
Speaking of the brutal moment, Theo told Metro.co.uk the entire situation came from nowhere. "I can’t hide my emotions on my face, my reactions are what I’m known for in my normal life, my face tells a thousand stories," he said.
When asked about being betrayed by Amanda, he added: "I was so shocked, like: 'What?! I was your 100% last night, honey, what are you doing? What’s this?' It was a shocker because you don’t know who to trust but I had a really, really close bond with Amanda.
"To have her write my name down was the final straw. I was like, get me on the circle, I’m over it, I’m ready, I’ll tell you all!"
The star revealed he was ready to go when the time came, as he tired of trying to prove himself as a faithful to the rest of the group. He said: "I am not justifying myself to these people. No, love. I’m not doing it.
"I knew I was a Faithful in there, I knew I was 100% authentically myself so I was ready, especially after the dinner the episode before, it felt like a good exit for me."
There are now seven Faithfuls and two Traitors left in the game as follows: Aaron, Andrea, Fay, Hannah, Kieran, Maddy and Meryl are all Faithfuls, while Amanda and Will are the remaining Traitors.
At the end of the game, if only The Faithful remain they will share the money in the prize money. However, if one of The Traitors remains, that person will claim all the cash.
The Traitors returns tonight on BBC One at 9pm.
