THE Traitors is set to return to TV screens on New Year’s Day with the hit show returning for its third series.
Shot at Ardross Castle in the Highlands just 30 miles north of Inverness, the popular game show hosted by Claudia Winkleman sees “Faithfuls” and “Traitors” go head-to-head to try win up to £120,000.

When is The Traitors on and how can I watch?
The third season of The Traitors will launch on January 1 from 8pm on both BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
Both episodes one and two will air at 8pm but, from episode three onwards, it will be on at 9pm.
The show will air on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights.
Where is the show filmed?
Ardross Castle from The Traitors is an 18th-century stately home which is located 30 miles north of Inverness.
It has passed ownership a number of times although the estate was broken up and sold in 1937.
The castle itself (below) was purchased by Mr and Mrs Austin Mardon before it was sold to the McTaggart family in 1983.
According to the castle’s website, the family began restoring the site to its former glory, through making repairs to the walled garden and lawns.
