A dad-of-three tragically killed after being hit by a tram in Wythenshawe has been pictured and named, as his heartbroken fiancée pays tribute to him.
Family man Wesley Tierney, known to friends and family as Wez, was just 29-years-old when he was hit by a tram on Poundswick Lane at around 8.25pm last Friday (January 13). Emergency services raced to the scene, but Wesley had sadly already died - just days before his son's birthday.
Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, his fiancée Kirsty said he was 'adored' by his three children Nico, 11, Cody, nine, and Quinn, two, and that she knew the pair would be 'together forever' since the day they met.
