Viewers have been captivated by the thrilling Australian series, The Tourist, featuring Jamie Dornan and Danielle Macdonald. The show follows the mysterious journey of an unnamed man (Dornan) who wakes up in a hospital with amnesia and is pursued by unknown assailants. With the help of Probationary Constable Helen Chambers (Macdonald), he sets out to uncover his true identity amidst danger.
The initial plan for The Tourist was a six-episode limited series, but its success led to a second season that took Elliot and Helen to Ireland, delving deeper into Elliot's past. The show became the UK's most-watched drama in 2022, prompting a renewal for a second season, which premiered on Netflix in early 2024.
