The Three-Word Message Travis Kelce Wanted to Say Before Being Pushed Aside at the White House

Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce revealed what he planned to say at the White House podium during the team’s visit to Washington D.C. earlier this week.

Travis and his brother, Jason, discussed the hilarious moment on their podcast New Heights. Apparently, Travis’s plan after distracting President Joe Biden was to take the podium and say three simple words: “My fellow Americans.”

Unfortunately, Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes shut down the plan before Travis could pull it off, ushering his star pass-catcher away before he could pull off what would have been a viral moment.

“If you would have started off with ‘My fellow Americans,’ that would have been such a show-stopper,” Jason said.

Travis did thank Mahomes for stepping in at the last moment and stopping his plan from coming to fruition.

“Shoutout to Pat, man, for keeping me from embarrassing myself at that podium in front of the world.”
