The teacher becomes her patient; the doctor shares a special moment in life

What is the best moment in the life of a doctor? Well, if you ask Dr. Pratibha, she would say it's the moment her teacher, Dr. Gupta, walked into her clinic as a patient.

The heart-touching note of a doctor narrating the precious moments in her career is winning hearts online. In the video shared by Dr. Pratiba, the user is seen overwhelmed after seeing her former teacher visiting her clinic for consultation. The doctor shares that it is one of the most special and emotional days for her.

'Today was a very special and emotional day for me. A patient walked into my clinic… and it turned out to be someone who shaped my journey years ago — my respected teacher from medical college, the former HOD of Forensic Medicine, Dr. B. D. Gupta Sir. The person from whom I once learned medicine… today trusted me with his health. Moments like these remind me why becoming a doctor is not just a profession, it’s a responsibility and a blessing. The faith that our teachers place in us is the greatest reward of all,' she wrote.

Further in the note, she mentions that she feels great that her teacher has trusted her enough to come for a treatment.

'Meeting him after so many years, taking his blessings, and knowing that he trusted me enough to come for treatment… truly made my day unforgettable.

Grateful for mentors who guide us, inspire us, and continue to bless our journey. Once a teacher, always a guide. Feeling proud, humbled, and deeply thankful today,' she added.

The video is full of comments from netizens adoring the beautiful moment.

'By your gesture, it shows that he is really a good teacher who impacted your life very much, and it's good to see that,' reads a comment.

'Once they teach us, we teach them how to take medicine. It's the beauty of our profession—even older people take advice. They respect us because of our knowledge…and feel proud at times. From both,' wrote another netizen.
