The Talk viewers were divided as host Jerry O'Connell was forced to waste a giant pot of BBQ sauce after losing a bet at this weekend's Super Bowl.
My Secret Identity actor Jerry, 48, was covered in the thick brown sauce as his co-stars continued to pour more over his head in this morning's episode on CBS.
He had lost out on a bet after being asked who he thought would win the playoffs, drawing the short straw as The Kansas City Chiefs became world champions on Sunday.
They beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 during this weekend's Super Bowl LVII, forcing Jerry to dive into a massive pot of barbecue marinade.
It was right at the end of today's episode of the morning chat show that he stripped to his shorts before accepting his fate in the side-splitting moment.
But some viewers confessed to switching off as they were "trying to give up meat".
"Yikes," Tweeted one viewer after the moment Jerry was first drenched in the BBQ dip, pulling off his goggles before being covered in more of the sauce.
"Jerry O got me craving BBQ. I'm trying to give up meat," blasted another. "Yes!!!! Jerry, you lost the bet," said a third – supporting his saucy send-off.
"Our Kansas City Chiefs Won the Super Bowl last night @Akbar_Gbaja Won. Go Ahead and Dive in That BBQ Sauce," they added. "@TheTalkCBS Awesome Bet!!! We're the Champions."
Clearly not a fan of the moment, one person wrote: "Accidently scanning channels & seen Jerry. JERRY IS A FOOLISH IDIOT."
"I'm hollering watching #TheTalk," Tweeted someone else. While another said: "I couldn't wait to see Jerry in BBQ Sauce."
It wasn't the only Super Bowl talk on US TV this morning, Whoopi Goldberg admitted she had to 'switch off' the game in a fiery rant on today's episode of The View.
The controversial TV presenter, 67, slammed the "awful turf" during this weekend's US playoff as she confessed to being concerned "for all kinds of stuff".
She launched into a rant about the event while the panel began talking about the game, telling viewers that she "knows" they "don't care".
"That field was so awful," she said. "I have to tell you, I was watching and watching and I couldn't watch anymore because I was concerned people were slipping."
