The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is set to have the biggest opening weekend of 2026 so far... and we're not surprised.

According to Variety, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is projected to open to $350 million worldwide, beating out Project Hail Mary, which opened to $140 million globally. The Super Mario Bros. Movie opened to a $171 global opening... and ended up grossing $1.3 billion overall.
