Normally, and particularly when addressing a young player, a manager might try to temper expectations. But Sebastien Pocognoli has already shown during his short time as Scotland manager that he is going to be doing things his way.

So, when he was asked what the Tartan Army should be making of their latest goalscoring hero, Kieron Bowie, and if they might be well within their rights to be getting a little carried away about what the former Hibs man can become for his country, the Belgian was only too happy – while being careful to point out where Bowie can still improve - to pour a little fuel on the fire.
