Primark is normally known for its cheap prices when it comes to everyday clothes such as T-shirts, but one in particular is so popular that it’s actually being sold for £150. The garment is part of a new collection called Stranger Things, in homage to the hit 1980s-set Netflix show.
The white and black long-sleeved T-shirt has a Hellfire Club graphic on the front - a reference to the show - and would-be buyers have begged Primark to restock after it became increasingly difficult to find one in-store or online. According to the Mirror, the top was only available in a few stores up and down the country, and people are seemingly taking advantage by selling them on eBay for as much as £150. One listing selling one of the T-shirts for that amount read: "From a smoke-free, pet-free home. This has been packed and stored ready for delivery. Will be posted first class recorded delivery. Sold out in the store and no restock as advised. This is sold in the men’s department so sizing is men’s sizing.”

The mad rush for the top has caused quite a stir online, with one disgruntled Twitter user posting: “Trying to get the Stranger Things Hellfire Club T-Shirt in Primark is literally the PS5 scenario all over again. It’s sold out everywhere.” You can read more about Stranger Things here.
Another Stranger Things fan tweeted: “Every Primark in my whole county is sold out of Hellfire Club T-shirts. Please tell me what I’ve done to deserve this.” Meanwhile, another said: Trying to explode everyone who got a Hellfire Club shirt with my mind. I raced down at seven this morning to my fourth Primark and nothing.”
Stranger things is now into its 4th series on Netflix and has proven to be one of the streaming platform’s most popular ever shows after debuting in 2016. According to Netflix, more than 40 million households watched the third season of the show within four days of its initial release.
