Newcastle United are still set for a busy summer as Eddie Howe looks to enhance his squad for the 2023/24 season.
Howe has already hinted that there will be departures but with Newcastle restricted with their transfer business due to Financial Fair Play rules, it feels inevitable that there will be a few players departing for pastures new. Here's our look at who might leave in the next few weeks.

Javier Manquillo
The Spanish full-back has a year left on his contract at Newcastle but the Magpies will not stand in his way if he finds a new club. A switch back to La Liga seems the most likely outcome for the long serving defender.
Getafe have been linked with a move while new Celta Vigo boss Rafa Benitez - the man who brought him to United - will be aware of his availability. Manquillo has been a good servant to Newcastle but is no longer guaranteed first-team football.
Jamaal Lascelles
The skipper is down to the last year of his current deal and made it clear 12 months ago he did not want to leave St James' Park. Lascelles was afforded just seven Premier League appearances last season under Eddie Howe.
With Champions League football on the agenda on Tyneside, Lascelles might feel there are opportunities ahead of a long hard season. Newcastle have been looking at new centre-backs this summer while Luton Town and West Ham have been linked with Lascelles.
Karl Darlow
Another long serving member of the United squad but it's hard to see how he gets the game-time he needs by staying at Newcastle. With Nick Pope established as the number 1 and Martin Dubravka back, Darlow ended up going on loan to Hull City last season. Over the weekend he was reportedly the subject of interest from AFC Bournemouth who were linked with a £5million move for the stopper.
Darlow has two years left on his deal and at 32 will want to play regular football. But any exit has to suit all parties.
Isaac Hayden
Hayden is back from a loan stint at Norwich City and Howe has already been asked about his future. The head coach stated he and Jeff Hendrick were in need of a "clean break" and that both would be unlikely to start pre-season with the senior squad.
It looked like Hayden was going to Norwich on a permanent deal before a knee problem hampered his form. Hayden has three years left on his contract so it will be a delicate balancing act for United to ensure they get some value and the player also gets a move worth making.
Jeff Hendrick
The Republic of Ireland international spent last season on loan at Reading. That was looking good until the Royals were docked points for breaking financial rules.
Hendrick is now back at Newcastle and seeking his next challenge. When asked directly about Hayden and Hendrick, Howe said last season: "They've done very well and been great servants to the football club and we certainly respect them. "But sometimes you need a clear break and focus on the players who will play a part in the season."
Hendrick has a year left on his current deal and could even leave on a free transfer if a club take him off the wage bill.
Ryan Fraser
The winger is the only player to have fallen out of favour with Howe after finding himself told to train with the Under-21s. Fraser was a key part of Howe's early chapters as boss but will now be allowed to leave this summer.
Fraser has two years left on his current contract and any exit would clear a big chunk of the wage bill.
