Welcome to rarefied air, Aaron Judge.
With one mighty swing of the bat, the New York Yankees slugger entered the 60 home run club in a single season, joining just nine other years of 60-plus. Fun fact, as you’ll see from this list below: Just six actual players have accomplished that.
While he probably isn’t heading into the 70s this season — hey, you never know! — it’s still an all-time unbelievable season that’s not done yet.
With that in mind, we’ve put together the list of the most home runs in a season, and we’ll update it as Judge continues to hit ’em deep:
