This is the shocking moment a driver ran away after smashing into a parked car at speed.
Footage shows a dark Peugeot 207 crashing into the back of a Volkswagen UP, which was parked on Moor View in Camperdown at 12.23am on Sunday morning.
The VW, which has now been written off, was hit with such force that it moved forward and collided with two other parked cars.

Following the collision, smoke could be seen coming from the front of the Peugeot.
The video shows how the driver, who was reportedly male and in his 20s, manages to escape from the vehicle and run away from the scene.
A man, who lives nearby, discovered the wreckage after hearing a "massive bang" during the early hours of the morning.
He said: "It was absolutely shocking, I couldn't believe it. It was so fast that the impact had knocked the car down the street.
"At first I was just worried about the guy because there was a massive crack in the windscreen. I was thinking I hope he's ok, I wouldn't want anyone to be hurt.
"I can't believe he's walked away from it. If it wasn't for the airbags going off in a cloud of smoke he would have went through the windscreen. It's quite scary that someone can do that.
"It's just so irresponsible. I don't know how someone can lack that much judgement. The best thing to do in that situation is put your hands up and say that was me."
Police were contacted about the incident and reportedly attended the scene within 15 minutes. Northumbria Police said enquires to locate the driver are currently ongoing.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Shortly before 12.30am on Sunday (May 28) we received a report of a collision on Moor View in Camperdown.
"It was reported that a driver had crashed into a parked car and caused significant damage to others before making off. Enquiries are ongoing to locate the driver in question."
