It's been two years since the dark and twisted BBC thriller The Secrets She Keeps was last on screen but it's returned for a second series, which continues this weekend.
Inspired by a real life baby kidnap in the UK, The Secrets She Keeps is an Australian-set drama, which focuses on the very contrasting lives of two women Megan, a well to do 'mummy' blogger who appears to have it all and Agatha, a woman with a very troubled past who set out to carry out a desperate and horrific crime.
Series one of The Secrets She Keeps aired on the BBC in the summer of 2020, with the plot focused on Agatha's obsession with Megan, an obsession which led to her stealing Megan's newborn baby son Ben from hospital, as she battled the demons of her own past and the loss of her still born daughter.
